About NIL Street
Our Goal Is To Help 10,000 Athletes
NIL Street began with Kahaku, a D2 first year college goalkeeper currently playing in New Jersey. Originally from Las Vegas, he launched his YouTube channel six years ago and got monetized on YouTube while in high school. While growing his YouTube channel, he learned a lot about YouTube analytics, content, thumbnail design, keywords and more.
The goal for NIL Street is to help high school and college athletes build real income through merch, social media, and brand partnerships. Kahaku built NIL Street to share what works, and what doesn’t work when it comes to making money through NIL and branding, especially for athletes in sports that get less attention.
With close family friends running a custom apparel, e-commerce fulfillment and marketing agency, a simple idea came to life. We built an online e-commerce solution where high school and college athletes can build their own online merch store.
Kahaku learned early on that soccer rarely sits at the top of NIL headlines. Football, basketball, and baseball attract more attention and more deals and he felt that gap early. The response was NIL Street, a home for lessons learned through real work, not theory. NIL learning never stops. Rules change. School policies differ. Contracts vary. To help with all this, Kahaku and his team plan on becoming THE resource for all things NIL. To accomplish this, we’ll do interviews with top NIL agencies, attorneys, services and college staff. We plan to cover a wide variety of topics, including compliance basics, deal terms, deliverables, usage rights, taxes, and simple record keeping.
Our goal is to help 10,000 athletes to start earning money not only with NIL, but by building their personal brand to take advantage of merch sales, brand partnerships and more.
